The two countries are likely to sign two agreements on cultural exchange and technology transfer

Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak arrives here today on a three-day official visit.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will receive him at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at about 7:40pm, sources at the Prime Minister’s Office said.

The Malaysian Prime Minister will then be taken to Sonargaon Hotel in a motorcade.

Najib Razak and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will jointly inaugurate ‘Sheikh Fazilatunnessa Memorial Specialised Hospital and Nursing College’ in Gazipur on Monday morning.

After the inauguration, Razak will visit the Prime Minister’s Office in the afternoon. Later, he will meet President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban at 5:45pm on Monday.

Foreign Minister Dipu Moni and Expatriates Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Engineer Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain will also meet Razak at his hotel suite on the same day separately.

The Malaysian premier arrives here after attending the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Colombo.

Issues relating to manpower export from Bangladesh and Malaysian investment here are likely to dominate the agenda of official talks during Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak’s visit.
