E-commerce Daak fair from Friday

E-Commerce Association of Bangladesh (e-CAB) is going to organize the fair

A two-day E-commerce Daak fair will begin in the capital from Friday, aiming to boost the country's online business.

Post, Telecommunication and Information Technology Minister Mustafa Jabbar will inaugurate the fair as chief guest at GPO (General Post Office), Dhaka.

E-Commerce Association of Bangladesh (e-CAB) is going to organize the fair.

Leading e-commerce companies are scheduled to showcase their products and services at the fair venue, while a number of seminars on e-commerce issues will be held, said Mehedi Hasan, general secretary of the e-CAB.

Fair Coordinator Asif Ahnaf said the fair would help boost online shopping culture in the country. He was speaking at a press conference at Jatiya Press Club on Wednesday.

Over 38 online shops including Daraz, Ajkerdeal, Chaldal, Priyoshop and Rokomari will display their products at the fair. 

The Daak fair will remain open every day from 10:00am to 5:00pm till May 18 (Saturday).

e-CAB Members and online shop representatives were present also present at the press briefing.
