Consumers can now pre-order of Samsung's next-generation of Galaxy phones, the Samsung Galaxy S10 series, in Bangladesh.
Pre-ordering for the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10+ started from Wednesday, allowing customers to avail exciting offers and discounts, according to a press release.
Partnering with Grameenphone, Samsung unveiled the devices last Tuesday, at an event in held in GP House.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 boasts the new Cinematic Infinity Display for the only HDR10+ viewing experience on a smartphone. The screen also comes equipped with the first ever ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
Both the Galaxy S10 and S10+ come with three rear pro-grade cameras consisting of a 12 megapixel wide lens, a 12 megapixel telephoto lens, and a 16 megapixel ultra wide lens. These two phones are available in three colours: prism black, prism white, and prism blue.
The Galaxy S10e caters those who want all premium essentials in a compact package and will be available in the prism black colour.
Galaxy S10e, S10, and S10+ are offered at prices of Tk74,900, Tk89,900, and Tk99,900, respectively.
Speaking about the launch of the new phones, Managing Director of Samsung Bangladesh Seungwon Youn, said: “Samsung Galaxy S series has a legacy of continuous innovation which has largely shaped today’s smartphone experience. With the launch of Galaxy S10 line of devices, we are leaping into the next generation of smartphones. At Samsung Bangladesh, we are hopeful that the new devices will cater to our customers, even the most demanding of them.”
Deputy CEO of Grameenphone (GP) Yasir Azman expressed his happiness to announce GP's association with Samsung, "which is one of the most preferred brands of Bangladeshi high-end smartphone users".
"Grameenphone strives to bring new offers for its customers, and this bundle offer with Samsung Galaxy S10 devices is another step towards making smartphone and data services more lucrative," said Yasir, adding that GP is constantly rolling out 4G network all over Bangladesh and ensuring best use of the network by enabling better technology.
Upon pre-order, customers will get either a free Galaxy S10+, free Galaxy buds worth Tk20,000, or cashback up to Tk8,000. Moreover, all customers will receive a one-time free screen replacement worth Tk25,000.
They will also get up to 20% cashback on pre-order payment through bKash. Samsung is also offering up to 12 months EMI (equated monthly installment) at 0% interest for City Bank American Express cardholders.
Grameenphone users will get 10GB free internet package with 4G data on their use of Galaxy S10 smartphones. Customers will be able to purchase an additional 10GB at a discounted rate of Tk110.
Customers can avail up to 36 EMIs from GP sales channels while pre-ordering, and this facility is available for AmEx, Standard Chartered Bank, Brac Bank, Dutch Bangla Bank, Mutual Trust Bank, Eastern Bank, and Trust Bank credit cardholders.
