It was decided on Monday, that the first session of the 11th Parliament that started on January 30 will continue till March 11.
The decision came from a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee of the current parliament held at the Parliament. Committee chairman and Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury presided over the meeting.
The meeting also decided that the speaker may extend or reduce the working days of the current session.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Rowshan Ershad, Amir Hossain Amu, Tofail Ahmed, Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim, Hasanul Huq Inu, Deputy Speaker M Fazle Rabbi Mia, Law Minister Anisul Huq, Anisul Islam Mahmud, and chief whip Nur E Alam Chowdhury, were present at the meeting.
