A speech-impaired man has been killed in Brahmanbaria.
The deceased is Shafiqul Islam, 26, son of Mohammed Ali fromVaishnavpur village in Basudeb union of Brahmanbaria district.
The incident occurred around 8:30pm on Thursday.
Police and locals said Shafiqul had been stabbed to death because of property disputes between once Abul Khayer and one Jamal Mia.
Shafiqul was an associate of Abul Khayer.
Brahmanbaria Sadar Model police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) MdSelim Uddin confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune.
Two people have been detained for interrogation, he said.
