Detained Indian national handed over to BSF in Feni

He was handed over through a flag meeting between BGB and BSF

An Indian national who was detained for trespassing into Bangladesh has been handed over to Indian Border Security Force (BSF) through a flag meeting with Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in Feni. 

The meeting was held on Wednesday. The detainee is Md Manjur Alam, 18, a resident of Amjadnagar of Tripura state in India. 

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB 4) Commander Lt Col Md Nahiduzzaman said: “Manjur was arrested from Dublar Char area of Parshuram upazila on Wednesday. He was handed over in good health to BSF through a flag meeting in the morning.”
