Around 33 shops have been gutted in East Elisha union of Bhola district.
Locals said the fire broke out at workshop in the eastern side of the junction market around 9pm on Saturday and soon engulfed the entire market.
The estimated loss in the fire is Tk2 crore.
On information, six units of Bhola Fire Service went to the spot and brought the blaze under control after two hours.
Bhola District Officer in Charge (OC) Chagir Mia confirmed the incident.
