The authorities deducted 5 marks of the candidates who appeared in the admission test for the second time
A total of 41,132 candidates have secured the minimum required scores in the admission test, took place on Friday, for enrolment with medical schools at undergraduate level, according to results published on Monday.
However, only 9,543 lucky students among the successful candidates will get the opportunity to study medical science in 100 private and public medical colleges across the country. The admission seekers will be accommodated based on their position in the merit list.
Among the 9,543, 3,318 will be enroled with 31 state-run medical colleges. The admission process in these colleges will be completed between 17-28 October. The others will be allowed to study at the 69 private medical schools across the country.
A total of 82,788 students took the Friday test.
