Participants in a hunger strike program have demanded to bring the big fishes under trial.

“Bangladesh against Corruption and Looting” organized the program in front of Anti-Corruption Commission office (ACC) in the city’s Segun Bagicha on Sunday.

Arman Hossain Polash, convener of “Bangladesh against Corruption and Looting,” said: “Looters have to be brought under justice.”

“The directive issued to take permission before arresting any government officials, must be cancelled.”

“The country should be free of corruption. This is why the current drives against corruption must continue,” he added.

Arman further said: “The flood of corruption cannot be checked if government officials and staff become corrupt and face no accountability.”

“Government should play a strong role to protect against looting. The big fishes of corruption also have to be captured along with current drives against casino.” he said.
