Pathao Limited’s ‘Every Ride Matters’ campaign was launched to fulfill the educational dreams of 20 underprivileged children. Under this campaign, Pathao will donate Tk1 from every ride taken during Ramadan. The amount earned during this period will be donated to Jaago Foundation to bear all education related expenses of these 20 children for one whole year.
The amount to be donated will come from Pathao’s commission, out of each completed ride. At the end of every ride, Pathao users will see the profile of the child whose education cost will be covered from that ride. Users will be able to see how their use of the platform directly affects the lives of these 20 children.
May 13, a MoU was signed between Pathao and Jaago Foundation regarding this campaign. Hussain M Elius, on behalf of Pathao, and Korvi Rakshand, on behalf of Jaago, signed the understanding in the presence of higher officials of both organizations.
CEO of Pathao, Hussain M Elius said: “Children know how to truly dream for a better future. Together Pathao and Jaago is moving Bangladesh by ensuring the education of the children at Jaago.”
