Two people have sustained burn injuries in a fire that broke out at a multi-storey building in Dhaka's Banani area on Sunday.
The injured have been identified as Sagar, 25, and Himel, 19.
They have been admitted to the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
Foysalur Rahman, senior station officer of Tejgaon Fire Service and Civil Defense Station, confirmed news of the incident.
"The fire broke out around 8:30am, in a flat on the second-floor of a building where accessories used to supply cable connections were stored," he said.
"Sagar sustained burn injuries on 65% of his body, and Himel on 15%," he added.
