Afsana Khanom, wife of Captain Abid Sultan, pilot of the ill-fated US-Bangla Airlines flight which crashed in Kathmandu, Nepal last week, has been admitted to a hospital in Dhaka Sunday morning.
Her family members brought her to the National Institute of Neurosciences and Hospital in Agargaon after she suffered a stroke, said the hospital's reception official Taposhi.
“She was brought here around 10am. Her condition is critical,” she added.
Afsana is now undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), according to the hospital official.
