RMCH acting Administrative Officer Ismail Mojumder filed the case with Rajshahi Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's court on Thursday.
The authority of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) has filed a case against Rajshahi University teacher ATM Johir who earlier filed a case against some intern doctors, alleging them of physically assaulting him at the hospital.
RMCH acting Administrative Officer Ismail Mojumder filed the case with Rajshahi Chief Metropolitan Magistrate’s court on Thursday.
The court has taken cognizance of the complaint and fixed Sunday for the hearing.
ATM Enamul Johir, a teacher of the law department at RU, was physically assaulted allegedly by some RMCH interns following an accidental bump with a female intern at the hospital in the night on February 14.
On February 15, RU students blocked the Dhaka-Rajshahi highway from 11am to 2pm in protest of the incident.
The RU teacher also filed a case with Motihar police station on that day.
