Rain likely today

Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary squally wind is likely to occur in many places over the country on Monday due to a seasonal depression over the South Bay. Thunder showers are likely to occur in few places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Khulna, Dhaka and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Barisal and Chittagong divisions with hail in some places. Day and night temperatures may fall slightly over the country, said a Met bulletin. A long-range forecast, issued on March 6, projected that one or two depressions might form in the Bay in April, and at least one depression may turn into a cyclone.
