Seventeen-year-old Shahi Al Sadat, a student of St. Joseph Higher Secondary School, has emerged as a prominent youth activist dedicated to protecting teenagers from rape, trafficking, harassment, and online exploitation.

Through Teen-X, a technology-driven support platform founded on 2 June 2021, Sadat has been leading awareness campaigns, advocacy efforts, and victim-support initiatives aimed at creating a safer environment for young people.

Founded with the vision of creating a safer environment for young people, Teen-X has grown into a platform that provides awareness, support, guidance, and advocacy for victims of abuse and exploitation.

Over the years, the initiative has conducted campaigns, workshops, and community-based programs focused on preventing violence against teenagers and promoting child rights.

One of Teen-X’s most significant achievements came through its assistance in multiple victim-support and awareness efforts that contributed to the arrest of seven accused rapists, highlighting the platform’s role in supporting justice and empowering survivors to seek help.

Sadat’s leadership and impact have earned him widespread recognition on both national and international stages.

In 2024, he became the Winner of the National Tech Award, recognizing his contribution to technology-driven social impact and youth innovation.

His growing list of achievements continued in 2025, when he received the PBIF International Business Award 2025, the 71 Media Iconic Award 2025, the Star Bangladesh Award 2025, the South Asian Excellence Award 2025, and the Global Excellence Award 2025 for his outstanding work in child protection, digital advocacy, and youth leadership.

Adding to these accomplishments, Sadat was honored with the Global Iconic Award 2026, further strengthening his reputation as a young changemaker from Bangladesh whose initiatives are creating measurable social impact.

Teen-X also achieved international recognition in 2026, when Team Teen-X won the Gold Medal at the WICE 2026 National Round Bangladesh, marking another milestone for the youth-led organization and showcasing its innovation on a competitive platform.

In addition to these recognitions, Sadat was nominated for the International Children’s Peace Prize 2024, one of the world’s most prestigious honors for young changemakers, for his contributions to child rights, digital safety, and youth empowerment.

Through Teen-X and several youth-focused initiatives, Sadat has reached thousands of students with awareness campaigns on cyber safety, child protection, anti-harassment education, and legal support.

His work continues to inspire young people across Bangladesh to use technology, leadership, and social innovation as tools for change.

“Every teenager deserves safety, dignity, and the opportunity to live without fear,” Sadat said while speaking about the mission behind Teen-X.

As Bangladesh continues its fight against gender-based violence and child exploitation, the efforts of young leaders like Shahi Al Sadat demonstrate how youth-driven innovation and community action can play a powerful role in building a safer future for the next generation.
